Pastoral Councils

Our parish has a Pastoral Council to advise and support the Parish Priest in the planning and provision of pastoral care in the parish. The Parish Pastoral Council comprises the parish priest, the second priest, the pastoral associate and elected and appointed lay leaders in the community.

In addition to the Parish Pastoral Council, each community has a Community Pastoral Committee focused on local community needs.

Broken Bay Diocese have issued a guideline to help parish pastoral councils and parishioners understand the nature and role of the Parish Pastoral Council.
