Youth Ministry
The parish offers a number of opportunities for youth ministry within the various parish activities.
Liturgy
Once a month the youth of the parish minister at the 6pm Saturday evening Mass at St Philip Neri, Northbridge. All youth in the parish are welcome to join with the core group in music ministry, singing, reading the scriptures and assisting the priest at the altar. Youth are particularly invited to be involved in the outdoor Christmas Vigil Mass at St Philip Neri, Northbridge.
Outreach
Twice a year the parish assists with meals at St Canice's Kitchen in Kings Cross. A cross-section of youth and adults assemble for the 8am Mass at St Leonard's, receive a blessing for the mission and travel out to Kings Cross, returning around 3pm.
Socials
The parish holds a number of social activities through the year aimed at youth and adults. These range from Trivia nights, raising funds for the Sanctuary Movement refugee outreach, to parish BBQs and morning teas. Details are published in the parish newsletter 4-6 weeks prior to the events. All youth are welcome.
