Vocations

The Vocations that are traditional in our Catholic Tradition are:

Within these there are many calls to particular ministries. The lay ministerial vocations are being promoted more and more. But the basic life choices still remains much the same

Prayer for Vocations

Shepherd God,

Help us to nurture childhood goodness into adult commitment.

Touch the hearts of many within our parish with a desire to serve you.

Call forth from this community sisters, brothers, priests, deacons and lay leaders.

May our parish be a source of hope and a source of ministers – shepherds for your church, your people, and your world.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, our Shepherd.
Amen

What is my calling?

There is a rich variety of ways through which men and women live out their Christian Vocations in today's world. Our paths may be different, but through our Baptism we are all called by God to journey together. God calls everyone to follow Him - there is no question about that! The question is: how is God calling ME to follow Him?
